[Christening] Danish royals twins christened in Copenhagen VIDEO
The royal parents were just drooling over their babies. Their two older children were extremely cute, focusing on being steady and sitting on their own little royal thrones. Princess Isabella being affectionate with her little sister. Proud grandparents. Queen Margrethe could not showcase a wider smile. Baby Vincent crying while entering the Kingdom of God - cutest moment ever - and baby Josephine just being a quiet lovely doll. BTW, I think it's the first time Crown Prince Frederik is holding his baby during a christening as it's usually CP Mary's task. Correct me if I am wrong. Prince Christian being adorable, playing with the program with his parents insignia. And at last but not least, princess Isabella waved her grandparents. There was just too much sweetness during this ceremony!

And she looked stunning in a blue dress during her children's christening. But she seemed to have to pay extra attention on the steps with those heels, didn't she?

The intimate ceremony took place at Holmen church in Copenhagen, which holds a special place in the heart of the twins' grandmother, Queen Margrethe, who was married there in 1967.
The little princess wore a christening robe of white cotton batiste and a bonnet which belonged to her great-grandmother Queen Ingrid.
And the little prince wore a gown fashioned from Brussels lace, which was originally made for the christening of future King Christian X in 1870.
Meanwhile, mum Mary looked stunning in a structured blue shift dress and white feathered headpiece, whilst Frederik complemented her look in a navy suit.
The select gathering who were present to witness the happy moment consisted of close friends and family, including Frederik's parents Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik, and his brother, Joachim.
The royal guest list was smaller than usual for this type of event as none of the major members from the royal houses of Sweden, Norway or the Netherlands were able to attend due to official engagements.

I don't dislike the name Vincent but absolutely love Joséphine. It makes them go back to their French roots (from CP Frederik's paternal side).

Never-before-seen pic shows Queen Elizabeth II as a baby

It was no doubt a treasured family snap. A mother looks adoringly at her cherub-faced baby, who giggles at the camera.
The proud mum in the picture, taken in 1927, was the then Duchess of York. And the impossibly cute little youngster was Princess Elizabeth – the future Queen of England.
It was snapped shortly before her parents left on tour of Australia and New Zealand.
During the painful six month separation – the little Princess was left at home with her nanny - the picture was no doubt of great comfort to the Duke and Duchess.
It is just one of many that have been released to mark the monarch's 84th birthday on April 21. They form part of a new exhibition showcasing the work of royal photographer Marcus Adams which opens at Windsor Castle on Saturday and runs until February 6 next year.
Also part of the collection are several photos taken of the ten month old Princess while her parents were away. These were sent to them as reassurance their daughter was healthy and happy back in England.
Accompanying the snaps was a note written by Elizabeth's nanny, Clara Knight. "If Mummy looks into my wide open mouth with a little magnifying glass she will see my two teeth. Elizabeth is quite well and happy," she wrote in the letter, dated March 8, 1927.

Proud Crown Prince Frederik sheds tears of happiness on daughter's christening
The service was beautiful, the hymns were emotive, and all their loved ones were there, making the christening of Frederik and Mary of Denmark's daughter - now known to the world as Princess Isabella Henrietta Ingrid Margrethe - a moving moment for both her proud parents. The heir to the throne seemed especially touched, though, as he wiped away tears while balancing his 19-month old son Christian on his lap.
In line with tradition, the princess' name was kept under wraps until the weekend ceremony - held at the chapel of Fredensborg Palace, the royal family's spring and autumn residence on the island of Zealand. Princess Mary, 35 - who wore a mauve dress by the same Danish designer who created her wedding dress - said she and her husband chose the name about two weeks ago.
Having consulted a list of Prince Frederik's forefathers they'd found the name Isabella on a distant branch of the royal family tree, she revealed. The Princess received three other names: Henrietta, after Mary's late mother; Ingrid after Frederik's grandmother; and Margrethe in honour of his mother.
The two-month old princess, who was dressed in the family christening robe also worn by her brother and her father, slept for most of the ceremony. She didn't even open her eyes when the bishop splashed water from the font over her brow.
There to witness the happy moment was Princess Mary's father, John Donaldson - who works as a lecturer in Denmark - with his wife Susan Moody. Among the royal guests were Princess Mathilde of Belgium and Princess Alexia of Greece - both godmothers to the new princess. Mette-Maritt and Haakon of Norway and Victoria of Sweden also attended.
After the ceremony, which was attended by 140 guests and broadcast live on Danish TV, the royal party stepped outside the palace to greet crowds of well-wishers waving Danish and Australian flags.
