Monaco's newly engaged sovereign Prince Albert has speaking about his happiness embarking on the next chapter of his life with former Olympic swimmer Charlene Wittstock.
In an interview with the French media, he said: "Today I share my joy with her."
The 52-year-old went on to describe his attractive South African fiancée as an "assertive personality because she's been formed by the values of sport".
He also talked about her "sensitivity and openness" to others, adding that he hoped that the Monegasque population would give her a good welcome.
The principality's people will have plenty of time to get know her after the prince revealed that the wedding is set for summer 2011.
