Princess Eugenie has begun a six-week work experience stint at Christie’s auction house in London.
The 20-year-old, who is studying the history of art at Newcastle University, reportedly wanted some first-hand “purposeful time” in the industry.
“She has always been interested in that line of work and it fits in perfectly with what she has been studying. I think she got the job through friends of the family,” the Daily Mail quotes a source.
The Royal was seen on her way to her first day’s work with a protection officer in tow. Earlier this month it was announced that Eugenie and her 21-year-old sister Beatrice would no longer receive official protection.
