The date is officially changed and set for Prince Albert of Monaco's wedding to Charlene Wittstock

Important news for royal followers: Prince Albert of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock will marry one week before they had originally announced. The ceremonies won't take place on July 8 and 9 next year - instead the civil wedding will happen on July 2, while the religious ceremony will be held on July 3. It was the royal palace who confirmed the news in a brief statement, which explained the reason for the change. "An Olympic Committee meeting is scheduled to take place in Durban on July 5-9, and the couple want the Olympic family by their side (at their wedding)," said the statement. "The prince also also wanted Charlene's first foreign visit as princess to be to her native land South Africa".
