Swedish royals unhappy about Prince Carl's new girlfriend

News of Prince Carl Philip of Sweden's new romance with model Sofia Hellqvist has apparently not gone down well with his family.
Queen Silvia and Princess Victoria have shown the greatest opposition to the relationship, reports daily newspaper Expressen.
Victoria has apparently tried several times to convince her brother not to continue dating Sofia, known in Sweden for her participation in reality show Paradise Hotel.
She has instead urged him, without success, to get back with his former girlfriend, Emma Pernald, whom he was with for ten yers before they split in February 2009. Neither Carl nor his supposed girlfriend have confirmed or denied the romance. When a journalist surprised the prince as he was leaving Alnarp University, South Sweden, where he studies agriculture, he said: "I can't say anything, and I don't want to say anything" and he added: "I am not going to say anything and people have to respect that. I am always going to give the same answer: no comment."
According to the press, since news of their relationship was made public, Carl and Sofia have kept in close telephone contact. But as of yet, there have been no pictures of them together.
