David Cameron will become the first prime minister to attend a royal wedding wearing his normal work attire rather than a traditional morning suit - as pictured.
The Conservative leader has decided not to wear tails to Prince William and Kate Middleton's nuptials, and will instead wear a lounge suit.
A Downing Street spokesman confirmed Mr Cameron's choice of dress, saying: "The wedding invitation states that you can wear uniform, a lounge suit or a morning suit, so it gives you a choice to wear one of the three."
The 44-year-old's wife Samantha is also rumoured to be breaking with tradition by not wearing a hat to the wedding.
