Princess Letizia and mother-in-law Queen Sofia's fashionable affinity

Crown Princess Letizia and Queen Sofia of Spain prove that the two women in a man's life, his lady love and his dear old mum, can also have a special relationship.
Ever since her marriage to Crown Prince Felipe, Letizia has often been seen enjoying the company of her mother-in-law.
Last month at a state dinner, Sofia, like any good friend who shares her wardrobe, loaned the pretty former newsreader a stunning platinum and diamond tiara to top-off her lady-in-red look.
And the latest outing for the two, an annual visit to a charity jumble sale in Madrid, was another opportunity for the Queen and her daughter-in-law to indulge in their love of fashion together.
After spending time greeting the various vendors, Letizia and Sofia – whose outfits coordinated with shades of purple – were all smiles as they tried on bracelets at one stand.
Showing how much at ease they are in each other's company, the pair chatted and pointed out items that caught their eye, just like two friends on a shopping date.
